  • How the free trial works

  • When a subscription is required

  • What’s included in a subscription

  • How to manage or cancel billing

Free trial: first 5 invoices

Every new Capsure account includes a free trial.

During the free trial, you can:

  • Upload or email up to five (5) invoices

  • Manage one participant

  • Use Capsure with no time limit

There is no expiry on the free trial — it's based on usage, not time.

If you need to manage multiple participants, you can upgrade to a Family account when you're ready to subscribe. Learn more about Family account.

Once you've added five invoices, you'll need an active subscription to continue adding invoices.

What happens when the free trial ends

After your fifth invoice:

  • Your account remains active

  • All existing invoices stay accessible

  • You won’t be able to add new invoices by upload or email

To keep adding invoices, you’ll need to start a subscription.

What’s included with a subscription

An active subscription includes:

  • Uploading and emailing up to 50 invoices per month on a Individual account and up to 150 invoices per month on a Family account.

  • Automatic extraction of claiming details

  • Unlimited Claim Wizard use

  • Ongoing access to your invoice records for audit readiness

Subscription options

Capsure subscriptions have two choices:

  • Account type (Individual or Family)

  • Billing frequency (Monthly or Yearly)

Account types

Individual

  • Manage 1 participant

  • Up to 50 invoices per month

Family

  • Manage up to 3 participants

  • Up to 150 invoices per month shared across all participants

Billing frequency

Both account types are available as:

  • Monthly subscription

  • Yearly subscription (includes two months free)

Pricing is displayed during checkout before payment is made.

All payments are processed securely via Stripe. Capsure does not collect or store your card details.

Managing your subscription

You can manage your subscription at any time from your Capsure account.

To open your billing portal:

  1. Go to Account

  2. Open the Billing tab

  3. Click Manage billing and subscription

  4. In the Stripe customer portal, click the purple Update subscription button

From the Stripe customer portal you can:

  • Upgrade from an Individual account to a Family account

  • Switch between monthly and yearly billing

  • Update your payment method

  • Cancel your subscription

If you upgrade from an Individual account to a Family account during your billing cycle, Stripe automatically prorates the cost. You'll only pay the difference for the remainder of your current billing period.

Note: We recommend only using the Stripe subscription portal to upgrade from Individual to Family. If you'd like to downgrade from Family to Individual, please contact us first so we can assist with the transition.

Cancelling your subscription

You can cancel your subscription at any time.

If you cancel:

  • Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period

  • You’ll continue to have full access during that time

  • After the billing period ends:

    • Your account stays active

    • All existing invoices remain accessible

    • You won’t be able to add new invoices without an active subscription

No refunds are provided for partial billing periods, except as required under Australian Consumer Law.

Payments and security

  • All payments are processed by Stripe

  • Capsure does not store payment details

  • By subscribing, you agree to Stripe’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy
