Free trial: first 5 invoices
Every new Capsure account includes a free trial.
During the free trial, you can:
Upload or email up to five (5) invoices
Manage one participant
Use Capsure with no time limit
There is no expiry on the free trial — it's based on usage, not time.
If you need to manage multiple participants, you can upgrade to a Family account when you're ready to subscribe. Learn more about Family account.
Once you've added five invoices, you'll need an active subscription to continue adding invoices.
What happens when the free trial ends
After your fifth invoice:
Your account remains active
All existing invoices stay accessible
You won’t be able to add new invoices by upload or email
To keep adding invoices, you’ll need to start a subscription.

Managing your subscription
You can manage your subscription at any time from your Capsure account.
To open your billing portal:
Go to Account
Open the Billing tab
Click Manage billing and subscription
In the Stripe customer portal, click the purple Update subscription button
From the Stripe customer portal you can:
Upgrade from an Individual account to a Family account
Switch between monthly and yearly billing
Update your payment method
Cancel your subscription
If you upgrade from an Individual account to a Family account during your billing cycle, Stripe automatically prorates the cost. You'll only pay the difference for the remainder of your current billing period.
Note: We recommend only using the Stripe subscription portal to upgrade from Individual to Family. If you'd like to downgrade from Family to Individual, please contact us first so we can assist with the transition.
Cancelling your subscription
You can cancel your subscription at any time.
If you cancel:
Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period
You’ll continue to have full access during that time
After the billing period ends:
Your account stays active
All existing invoices remain accessible
You won’t be able to add new invoices without an active subscription
No refunds are provided for partial billing periods, except as required under Australian Consumer Law.
Payments and security
All payments are processed by Stripe
Capsure does not store payment details
By subscribing, you agree to Stripe’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy
